I told her to hug them and this is her "artist" licence of hugging turkeys.

Cheli says, "That duck is nesting in the compost"!

There is a duck in the left corner of the compost bin.... gotta look close. She's sitting on about 8 eggs.

The fav dirt patch of goatie lounging. They have some strange attraction to the proximity of the chickens. Pretty darn cute, tho! (check out Huckleberry and watch the pics below)

The turkeys like to visit the chickens. They get weird when you point a camera at them.

Final touch ups on the well house. Much better.

Well-house tune-up, it needed it pretty bad. Looks much better.

What happened Today

Got a new bush today from the neighbor.

Bid farewell to the redneck pond

Strip old roof in preps for new roof on well house.

It would rain now that its laid bare.

Crazy Barred Rock, why are you sitting there like that. You sit everywhere like that. Actually, it looks really comfy, I'll try it and report back.

How does one tell the males from the females? Why do I ask myself that? There is a lot to ask about turkeys. Why do you roam? Why do you panic about flying back into the pen when you've clearly flown out of it? IT'S THE SAME TECHNIQUE! Your self confidence astounds me, you can roam as a flock without a keeper! No really, you can!
