Twisted Fern Forest Critters

Kids
The kids explore first... but, Mamma isn't far behind.

Kuma and the Kids
Kuma was already in the bushes eating, the kids found him.
Kuma watching the kids go back into their pen
Mesa chased Bandit and started a stampede. Mamma is telling Arlen about it. (Bandit thought it was fun)
Lucy got mad
Lucy scolding Mesa, everybody had to go back into their own pens because Mesa made Mamma mad. Lucy likes Mamma and gets annoyed when Mesa, Huck or Banjo get in trouble.

Karma

Mamma enjoying a kid-free hay box
So, lately the boys have been getting in trouble for loitering in Mamma's hay box. I thought it was karmic irony that the chickens started loitering in the goats feed station lately... and pooping in it!
Two of the 6 new chicks loitering in the goat pen
They have been left to fend for themselves and this is where they like to hang out.
Larry, Curly and Mo
The three older chicks get the top... the goats food station! The goats get a lesson in Karma!

BTW- That middle chick has some amazing colors the camera can't capture... and those chicks are 8 weeks old... HUGE!

Peace On The Farm...?!

Mamma
This is Mamma, she is the boss and should be respected. Bad behavior is ignored or mooed at, like little rascals dumping and peeing in her hay box.
Little Rascals
Mamma tolerates the kids but is quite over their shenanigans. She looks to me to solve her problems... better step up!! No matter how annoyed she is, she is never mean. What a great cow!

P.S. Photos taken with smart-phone since real camera is not available. Not bad!
