It finally quit snowing... and then quit raining. The sun is sneaking out from behind the clouds and all the critters are soaking it in.
The chickens are sunbathing...
The cows are sunbathing...
The goats are watching the chickens sunbath...
Then I distracted the goats by giving them some of the branches that came down because of the heavy snow loads.
I decided to go for a walk in the nice weather and found this, vermin tracks. Guess the snow didn't slow them down, in fact they probably liked to the cover.
I wandered up to check out the waterfalls. With all the rain and snow-melt they were full and pretty.
Some day we'll have trails and a bridge across them at the top of the property.
I hadn't walked through the cow pen in a long time and thought I was due for a tour. Turns out you can see three of the falls at the same time through the bare trees. Cool!
Soon, only two of the falls will be visible from the house... things are growing! Welcome, Golden Berries!
This Christmas Cactus is a tad confused... still pretty anyway! Bloom, crazy Christmas Cactus, BLOOM!!
Meanwhile, indoors we are making cheese...
Experimenting with MOV's and SCOBY's...
And starting the floor project.
We re-purposed the old deck wood and are making our wood floor with it. It's going to be soooo purdy!!
And... making a big mess.
... never mind the mess... just look at these beautiful goats in the sunshine!!
