The Sun Is Out... Must Take Photos

Lucy's Package

She's getting bigger! How many kids are in there?

Tunnel Travel

Not fair, these little shrimps can travel under the brambles! No wonder my camera has caulking on it.

I'm too sexy for your camera!

So nice of him to check on me and make sure I'm still making it.

Nom Nom Nom

Feeding frenzy! Lookout when you find a berry vine. Someone is getting used as a step stool.

BOO!

The show's over, go home!

Monday In Search of Berries

The abundance of black berries is dwindling. We're having to bushwhack to get 'em.

Lucy is starting to look more prego. She "dwarfs" those boys (snigger).

Lucy may be portly these days but nothing will stop her from getting to food.

Found some treasure, Licorice Ferns. Whoo Hoo!!

Oddly, Lucy is letting to boys have them.

Proud Banjo standing with Papa.

Yoda stretching his legs. He sure loves to run and jump.

Back to the barn to say "Hi" to the cows.

Hey, Bandit, where'd you get those ears?

Oh, from your mom!

She's blossoming!

Lily and Kiki

Took a good picture of our lily.

Lily

Kiki was being funny... and she's black so it kind of matches the lily photo.

Kiki

I should clarify, Kiki is 13 yo this year and about as exciting as a librarian. She doesn't cuddle or like being pet much. So for her to flirt with the camera is "funny". She isn't actually funny.

Farm Fun Friday

Today is Friday and we had some farm fun. Wanna see?

Chicken Run

Step out the back porch to feed the critters in the morning and get greeted by the chicken committee.

The ducks make due in the frosty morning. Looks like they are visiting the keeper of the pond.

The pond keeper says there are 5 more days of very cold weather.

After morning chores, time to go to the office for the humans. Then we head back outside to enjoy a little sunshine with the kids.

Mesa

Lucy and Huck

Lucy and Huckleberry are buddies and like things mellow.

Yoda and Banjo

Yoda and Banjo have a lot of energy and like to keep it frisky. Banjo asks, "Do you wanna talk about it?" Yoda says, "There is no talk, only DO"!

Bring it on!

Then Mesa and I tag along on a trail scout with the man in the beard.

Happy Friday!

Muddy Buddies

Bandit and Kuma

• Bandit is three months younger than Kuma
• Kuma is a rescue calf.
• Bandit is fortunate enough to still have Mamma.
• Kuma was bottle fed and is now on grass and hay.

Aside from those differences they live identical lives. The other difference is genetic, Kuma may just have smaller parents, but they are all the same breed of cow.

Rain, rain go away!

Hiding inside because it's never going to stop raining.

Miserable, dull rain. Chickens don't seem to care and the ducks love it.

My little fat babies got their pen cleaned today.

Oops, lens was steamed up.
